![]() You can find the Luminous Blur Stick primer now for CAD $43 / US $36 (1 oz) at. I think it depends on what you’re looking for whether or not you’ll like this product. I think that I will have better luck with this product in the warmer seasons. I didn’t have any problems with it clinging to dry patches and it did sit well under makeup. Because this is a bit drying, I suggest prepping your skin very well with moisturizer ( especially if you have dry skin) since this is supposed to mattify the skin. I think this is nice to use when I’m just running out the house with no makeup as it did smooth over my complexion and give me a little bit of a healthy-looking glow. I find that this is more noticeable on bare skin but not so much under makeup. ![]() I also couldn’t see a huge difference with makeup over it. I don’t have a huge pore problem and it’s usually not a concern for me but the little I do have, I could still see some of them peeking through after using this blur stick. It did even out my skintone but in terms of a blurring effect, I feel like it didn’t really blur out my pores completely. Milk Makeup Blur Stick is one of the few primers I have bought time after time. Milk advises that you apply it after moisturizing, as you would any primer, for a flawless finish under foundation, or let the blurring effect convince you to forgo foundation. I did notice a slight “glow” from the stick. It’s easy to blend and has a gold glittery tone to it, but does indeed have a matte finish. MY THOUGHTS: This has a creamy texture and goes on very smooth. This silicone-free and oil-free formula goes on clear to create a golden, pearl-infused glow on all skin tones, without clogging pores. The blurring microsphere technology is supposed to minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines so that makeup lays down better and wears longer. After that, I blend it with my fingers, making sure to cover my lids and cheeks since its a good. This new Blur Stick has a luminous matte finish with a golden pearl-infused formula to leave you with a glow, while blurring microspheres absorb oil and mattify. Heres how I apply: Starting off with clean, moisturized skin, I rub the stick around my face. Apparently this is very similar to the original version. But, if you go to milk.mu/allureflashsale starting at noon on Tuesday, January 3, you can shop it a whole six days. This is meant to provide both mattifying and luminizing properties, and is basically the best of both worlds. The Blur Stick retails for 36 and goes on sale January 9 at. This primer is intended to give the effect of a “luminous matte skin.” Just saying.Milk Makeup recently release a new addition to their best-selling Blur Stick, Luminous Blur Stick. But if you’re the type of person who can’t live without a primer, you would probably repurchase it. I don’t know if it’s totally changed my opinion on whether I actually need a primer or not for my everyday makeup, but I’ll definitely continue wearing and enjoying this one. So, I think I have made it quite clear that I am a fan of this primer. It just helps to keep any excess oil at bay. In addition, it leaves a nice matte finish but still allows my skin too look glowy when I put my regular foundation over it. It’s amazing for filling in pores and fine lines so my skin looks smooth. On the contrary, this one is so lightweight, I can’t feel it on my skin at all. They just make my skin feel so yucky and sticky and heavy throughout the day. Praise the lord!! I hate those silicone feeling primers. For starters, the Blur Stick is silicone-free and oil-free. I know, I’m just as surprised as you are. But hey, even I must admit the price is almost worth it. What makes this $43?! I have trouble paying over $40 for a foundation, let alone a primer. The second negative is that this primer is $43. However, I must admit it does feel nice and quick to just quickly swipe the stick along my T-zone and up and down my cheeks and then gently pat in the product with my fingers. The whole thing just seems really unhygienic to me. I’ve never liked stick primers because I feel like it’s not a good idea to be rubbing the stick directly on your face each time and gathering up bacteria. Let’s start with the (small list of) negatives first. So I happily tried out the Blur Stick Matte Primer with an open mind. The brand has really taken off ever since they launched at Sephora and the line just looks so darn cool. However, I have been dyingto try out some products from Milk Makeup. Second, I rarely find they actually do what they are supposed to do, whether that be making my makeup last longer or helping my pores appear smaller. ![]() First, I feel like they always block my pores and make me breakout. But if you’re new here (or you don’t religiously follow my posts), I’ll state them again. I rarely wear a primer under my makeup and I have made my reasons quite clear. If there’s one thing that I have been consistent with on my blog over the years, it’s my hatred for primers.
